Molecular Epidemiology Unit


The Molecular Epidemiology Unit from the Institute of Tropical Medicine “Alexander von Humboldt” (IMTAvH) was established in 2012 with the objective to develop and apply modern tools of molecular diagnostics in the field of infectious and tropical diseases, such as tuberculosis, malaria, leishmaniasis, HTLV-1-associated diseases, diseases caused by enteropathogens and antimicrobial resistance
